Parliamentary Elections 2005
Web site and online game aim to increase the electoral activity
CONCEPT
In 2005, there were expectations for extremely low electoral activity for the Parliament Elections in Bulgaria. We were asked to create a concept for activities targeting young people and people who will vote for the first time.
The site was a part of a huge campaign which covered all basic media channels and directed the attention of the people to the web site. There, the visitors were able to get acquainted with their rights and responsibilities arising from their right to vote. In order to increase the interest in the election process, we created an online game. The game was open for every person who had the right to vote. It was a quiz game and every day we published on the website a question about the elections and the work of the Parliament in general. We created advertising banners to stimulate the users to participate in the game. The banners promoted prizes for the most active users. Following the campaign goals, the site content included also explanatory materials, news, and related information.
REALIZATION
We created the web site, software support and data basis support, registration for participation in the online prize draw.
